Update -New Video-
Sweet Koko has had a hard life. He was found on the side of a highway, one that he dangerously crossed on a daily basis to find food. After rescuing Koko, I was appalled to learn that he actually had a family who was neglecting to care for him. When I talked to them about Koko they told me that they did not want him anymore.
-update 3/14-
Koko has been living with another cat for the past week, and he's adapted well to another cat coming into his territory. A lot of hissing the first few days, but he stopped doing that. Now he's more curious than anything about other cats.
-------------------
Since then, Koko has been recovering from his life outside very well! He is incredibly sweet and loving and shows no behavior issues from his abandonment. In fact, he loves nothing more than a snuggle and a nap on ANYONE'S lap! He is incredibly friendly to all people and forms a deep trust and bond with people quickly. He is also fantastic with children and has actually spent a lot of time at my elementary school where he loved being bombarded with hugs and kisses from lots of kids. If you have roach problem in your household, have no fear, because Koko will exterminate them for you.
He is up to date with his vaccinations and is neutered. He is litter box trained and does well in a carrier. He is basically ready to go!
If you are looking for an easy going, cuddly addition to your family, especially if you have children, Koko would be perfect! If you are interested in giving Koko his happy ending and a forever home, please feel free to contact me and stop by to meet this awesome dude!

That's really cool you could take him to your school! How did you manage that? I've heard of some other teachers being able to do it, too, but think it would be great if you had some tips for getting it. :)

My students kept asking me to bring him, so I took him to school during my Winter Camp when there was no school in progress. Wasn't really complicated to bring him to school, as my staff doesn't mind, and they all know he was rescued here.
I guess for bringing an animal to school, it all depends on your boss and co-workers. I'm really close with my entire staff, so they don't mind.

Oh wow, he is SO well behaved and easy-going! He does great with your students! All of the cats in my family would've gotten irritated having so many people around and being rubbed like that lol
That video is seriously a testament to his A+ attitude!
