UPDATE 2013/03/24: She has wormed her way into the hearts of a family who will love her and squeeze her forever. How lovely!
Julia Caesar and her siblings were born on December 30th, 2012, which came as a big surprise for me as I only confirmed that her mother (whom I adopted from a shelter) was pregnant two days beforehand. Of the litter, Julia quickly proved herself to be the most forthright - she also outstripped the others in growth. The other three now look teeny in comparison.
(How did she get her name? "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's - that is, absolutely everything.")
She is mostly pee pad trained, but will have accidents when she's excited or upset. The outdoors is still a frightening, strange-smelling place for her. When she is not napping in her (borrowed from a friend) house, she can be found curled up on laps or with her mama. Her preference is for rope toys - but any toy that can be put to use as an instrument of tug-of-war is A-OK with her.
Her mother, Buffy, is some sort of corgi mix, but smaller and cuter. (I'm keeping her. You can't take her from me, you fiends.) Her father...? An unknown sneaky shelter dog.
(On a related note, I am looking for someone flying to Chicago or Michigan by March 30th to transport Julia's sister Isabella the She-Wolf of France to her new home. If you know someone who fits this description, please contact me ASAP!)
