*Update-November 17th*
Carol is doing great in her new home in Seoul and has been officially adopted. Congratulations girl.

*Update-October 1st*
Carol has been at the shelter for a while, waiting patiently for someone to fall in love with her. Luckily, for Carol a lovely lady from Seoul arrived to take her away from her rough shelter life. Good luck in Seoul, Carol.

*Update- September 25th
Carol has been doing well since she arrived back at the shelter. Many of our volunteers have fallen in love with her and it's not hard to see why. She walks very well and when it's time to stop for a rest she immediately starts cuddling and playing with the person she is walking. She is a great dog and hopefully her forever home will come soon!
*Update-September 9*
Carol is a beautiful, quiet, very energetic girl. She came back to BAPS last week after finishing her heart worm treatment. Yesterday on our walk she was extremely well behaved. Before her treatment, she was the kind of dog to try to pick fights, so I was pleased to see how much she has changed since her foster. Living with a dedicated foster mom has really helped her calm down, though she really loves walking and getting some exercise. She would be a great buddy for someone who likes a daily walk, please consider her!

*Update -August 14th*
Carol is doing really well. I've been taking her to the river a lot recently to cool off, she wasn't a big fan at first but now she is slowly taking to swimming. She has become so much more cuddly and affectionate recently it will break my heart to see her go back to the shelter, I've really grown attached to her. She has been in heat for the past two weeks so hopefully this week will be the last. She has also been living with 3 other dogs these past few weeks, one male and two females, and is getting along great with them. Her growling towards other dogs on leashes is also improving every day. Please think about this wonderful wolfie pup!

*Update- June 4th*
Carol is doing great in foster care. Her wonderful foster mom Tara has this to say about her.
"I didn't know Carol very well before I took her for heartworm treatment but I can honestly say she is a really calm, placid and good-natured dog. As she is in heartworm treatment and needs to be kept very calm, she spends most of her time out on the veranda alone but she never whines and I've only heard her bark around 3 times in the two weeks that I've had her. She has no separation anxiety issues and is perfectly happy in her own company. She is also 100% house-broken, she holds everything until she goes outside and doesn't use a pee-pad. She is becoming more and more affectionate day by day. One morning last week I woke up with my hand hanging out of the side of the bed and she had just ever so gently placed her head right under my hand, so cute!
Not to mention she's a stunner, like a little wolf cub. Please consider this great girl! ^^"

*Update - May 13th*
Carol will be going into foster care shortly to receive her heart worm treatment. Good luck, Carol.

*Update - April 16th*
Carol is still looking for a foster home for 2 months so she can receive her heart worm treatment. She's a pretty calm girl when she is out walking and her aggression with other dogs is slowly improving. She has started looking for cuddles from our volunteers. Last weekend when I was walking her, Carol tried to sniff around me and enjoyed being petted. Carol seems like she is starting to adjust to living in the shelter and she is now enjoying being out with people.

*Update - March 26th*
Carol didn't go out for a walk on Sunday as she was in heat but there was some great news for her. Due to the very successful fundraising at "Music For Mutts 2", Carol will shortly begin treatment for her heart worm. Carol needs to spend 2 month in a dog free home to receive her treatment and recover. As the treatment puts a lot of stress on the dog's heart, Carol won't be able to go out for walks for 2 months. We are currently searching for a foster home for little Carol. If you would like to give a beautiful pup a new lease of life and the chance to live in a loving home the please consider fostering Carol for her heart worm treatment.

Carol came to BAPS a few weeks ago from the local pound with 5 other pups so she is still adjusting to life at the shelter. All the pups were named after characters from the tv show "Walking Dead". Carol has an amazing and very unique look, she looks like a mix between a small wolf and mini husky. She has been out for a walk a few times and walks well on a lead.

Carol is currently in a cage of her own as she she is still getting used to be around other dogs. While out of the cage she needs to be watched carefully as she doesn't appear too friendly towards other female dogs. But she is calm and happy around people, she stayed still while I spent more than 5 minutes trying to get on her very complicated harness. We are hoping that some time in the shelter will result in improvement in her behavior.

Medical information:
Needs a few more rounds of vaccinations. She is receiving them at the shelter.
She hasn't been spayed and seems to be in heat now.
Unfortunately, poor Carol has heartworm. She needs a foster or forever home soon so she can begin treatment.

Carol is a BAPS dog, which means anyone interested in fostering or adopting her will need to complete the adoption application (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/adoption-application) and volunteer two Sundays in a row (from 11-3) at our shelter.
