Betty

UPDATE!!!! Betty the beautiful beagle was collected by her amazing forever parents Brian and Tiffany last Saturday. We are so happy that Betty has found her perfect match although we are really missing her because we loved her so much! We wish Brian and Tiffany the best of luck with Betty, she deserves the best home ever!

Betty is a beautiful beagle puppy who we are currently fostering in Daegu. She is an absolutely adorable, fun loving and affectionate little dog who has completely stolen our hearts. She was in the Daegu KAPS shelter for almost two months. We took her out on some walks and fell in love with her and then decided to foster.

Betty is an energetic dog who needs lots of stimulus and activity. She enjoys being taken for short runs, long walks, chewing on bones and earning treats. She also really loves snuggling up near us and cuddling up whilst we watch movies in our apartment. However, as she is a beagle she's not allowed to be let off the leash. We are currently training her to walk well on the lead and she's trying her best! However, be prepared that due to her breed she will always to some extent, follow her nose.

She's been with us for almost two months and in that time we've managed to pretty much toilet train her. She is crate trained and happily sits in there for up to 4 hours. We're teachers and one of us does come home to see and walk her every lunchtime, something I think is essential for this breed. So far she has learnt the commands SIT, STAY, LEAVE, DOWN and NO and we're working on more.

She is up to date with vaccinations but needs to be spayed.

Vets have aged her at approximately 8 months old. She is negative for distemper, heartworm and parvo virus. She has just lost one of her final baby teeth (we think!) so is teething a little.

Beagles need a lot of love, care and attention but give a lot back in return. Betty is always up for fun, walks and runs.

UPDATE! We have had lots of interest in Betty but unfortunately no one has met her yet so we're still looking for her forever home. Although she takes a lot of love and care she is the most adorable little thing ever and is so full of affection for her owners.
