Silly little Cricket is a bit skittish, but so adorable! I took her as an urgent foster after a failed adoption. She and my Maltese get along great, and she has a history of getting on well with other dogs and cats from her first Foster Mom.
She was hesitant to come to me at first, but once I sat on the floor she hopped right on and sat down and this was the first night with me after only a few minutes. She is afraid of strangers initally, but warms up after a little while as long as the person is patient with her and doesn't force her.
She has shown no agrression toward me, my dog, or others and she only barks when she is playing with my dog or right after I leave for work if she is alone, but only for a minute or so. She is a cuddler too; I swear if she could purr, she would.
She knows how to sit (sometimes reluctantly), she is getting better on the leash as far as not pulling as much, and she has no food aggression. She tries to avoid having to go into the back room when I have to leave for work, but with patience she will come to me and I can pick her up to take her to the back room with the kennels with my dog.
I have to close the door instead of using a baby gate because she can jump over a three foot high pen. I found that out when I first had her and kept her in the pen in the house while I was at work. She and my dog both met me at the door one day, and the gate to the pen was still locked. Thankfully, she is not destructive, so nothing had been destroyed and she did not have any accidents.
Basically, there will definitely be an adjustment period of about 1-2 weeks, but she is just a little goofball who has had a hard life being passed around. If you're looking for a very quiet, well-behaved, housetrained, small dog, who likes to snuggle, Cricket is good for you! Please don't let her shyness hold you back! She's a playful loving dog who just wants to find her forever home.
Rescue story : Cricket was taken into foster care from Asan shelter.

Update 23 May 2013: Cricket is a healthy and happy little girl! She has been spayed, and had no issues with the surgery or the recovery, thankfully! She is really coming out of her shell too. She will go up to people and sniff their fingers, just out of reach, but that is huge progress for her! She also LOVES to play...and steal toys/chewies from Toby, her foster brother. She will play fetch too, and drop the toy for you to throw it again. She still needs a patient person or family to work with her, but she is ready to meet people. So, if you think you might be the one for her, please contact me and we can set up a meeting.

Cricket is a curious little girl, and even though she is shy at first, she will sniff your fingers if you come down to her level to meet her...wouldn't you like to meet her?
