Zaphod has been adopted by his foster!
The garage kittens are doing really well, but still looking for homes! Zaphod has developed a real love of food and will let his foster know when he's hungry by gently attacking feet.
Zaphod is now neutered! While he's still an aloof cat, he's up for head scritches and really loves hanging out with his fellow cats.
Zaphod's foster may have to leave soon Korea on very short notice. He's willing to drive this fella pretty much anywhere if the situation is good. Zaphod needs a foster or a forever home urgently! He's good with other cats, but untried with dogs and children.
Update: Zaphod is finally letting his foster pet him and is willing to play!
Happy update! Zaphod is getting even braver than his sister and is always up and out and ready for food first in the mornings. He's turning out to be much less timid than we thought!
Update: Zaphod is ready to be adopted into a gentle home that is willing to take it slowly with him. He does very well with other cats and his hobbies include regally regarding the world and being invisible on dark furniture.
Update: Zaphod has finally shown that he's not so scared anymore. When it comes to feeding time, he will happily push his two siblings and his new friend out of the way so that he can eat first. He is also something of a ninja cat, blending in nicely to any dark furniture. He's about ready to be adopted and is nearly four months old!
Update: While Zaphod and siblings are near Wonju right now, they can travel. They all have dermatitis. This means they need to be separated, so they can't all stay at the same foster home where they are now. Can someone help by taking in one of the garage kittens? They are getting much more trusting of humans
Update: Zaphod is settling nicely into foster care and is starting to trust humans a little. She is a recently-rescued 10-week old feral kitten who needs a home to shower her with love!
He is the shyest of his litter, to the point where her very existence came as a surprise on rescue day. She is very, very good at hiding and hilariously bad at climbing. He's a good little kitten and I'm sure he'll be very affectionate as soon as she realises that humans aren't out to kill her. He is also very determined and a fighter; when I wrapped him in a towel to give him meds he was the only one that didn't stop trying to escape after the towel was over his head - it's admirable!
