Bane

Alfred and Bane FINALLY made it to their adoptive homes in the States! Hurray! Thank you to everyone involved with these sweet boys. We will all miss them dearly, but happy that they finally have the forever homes they so desperately deserved.

***Please help!!! My brother, Bane, and I have an adoptive home in Texas! However, we need help getting there! Is anyone flying to or through Albuquerque, New Mexico, El Paso, Texas, or even Dallas, Texas and willing to let us catch a ride?! All costs will be covered, someone will be able to bring us to the airport and help you check in, and our new family will be waiting at the airport to take us home. You will only have to call your airline to add us to your ticket and claim us when we land and bring us out to the arrival area to meet with our family! We would be ever so grateful!***

Meet Bane, a six-month-old orange and white kitty. Bane was raised, along with his four brothers and sisters; by humans since the time they were about two weeks old. They were brought to me in a cardboard box with no mother in tow. Therefore, he and his siblings have had to solely rely on humans. Bane grew up with his siblings, but has had to watch his two sisters and one of his brothers get adopted, while he and Alfred still wait for their forever home(s). Alfred and Bane are currently in their third foster home, and we all want their next home(s) to be their last!

Since Bane has been around people since he was two weeks old, he is completely domesticated. Bane has also been around other cats, and has lived with a variety of dogs, both small and large! When Bane was living with me, he would love to rub his body against the legs of my big dogs and tried to play with their feet. Half of the time my dogs were so focused on the other kittens, that they didn’t even notice Bane, and I think that was his favorite part.

I would say that Bane is considered a bit more reserved than his brother, Alfred. He has trusted Alfred to be the one to do the exploring for him and let him know that everything is okay. Even though he is reserved, Bane relaxes quickly, and comes up to his humans for lots of cuddle time and tummy scratches. Bane does love people, but he is also perfectly content with lounging all day on a bed or blanket looking out the window all day.

Bane is still a kitten and still very much loves playtime! He loves scratching posts, string toys, balls, and anything with bells! He will chase them, chew on them, and toss them around. He loves to play by himself, with his brother, Alfred, and even with his beloved humans. He also LOVES food! I bet that little guy could be motivated to do tricks or to deter bad habits by his dry kibbles any day.

Bane is currently not up to date on vaccines, but he will be soon. However, he was tested for FeLV/FIV, and it came back negative. He is in need of his last round of vaccines, and then he will be good to go for another year. Bane will also need to be neutered and microchipped before going to his forever home, but those are relatively inexpensive since his is a male cat.
Bane and his brother, Alfred, are really close and spend most of their time play and snuggling with each other and their foster mom. Alfred and Bane would do well on their own, but it would also be great if they were adopted together. Don't miss out on these special cuties!

Bane is in need of a new foster/adoptive home ASAP! He has one week to find a place to go or else he is at risk of being put in a shelter :( He doesn't deserve that! He is getting neutered tonight, so no one will have to worry about having an un-neutered kitty! Please take a chance on this sweet little guy! He loves to cuddle and receive lots of pets, but is also content on his own.

Bane was neutered on the 10th of December and will be able to have his stitches out within the next couple of days. Alfred and Bane both had potential adoptions this past week, however they have fallen through due to no fault of either Alfred or Bane. Bane is still urgently searching for his furever home!

Bane was able to get his sutures taken out over the weekend. He is so happy to have them out. Bane absolutely LOVES snuggling with his people, especially on his back (as you can see from the majority of his pictures)! I would love for Bane and Alfred to be adopted together, since they have been together for the past 7 months, but if that isn't possible, Bane can be adopted on his own. Please give this snuggly, sweet boy a chance at a furever home!
