Eddie Izzard

Eddie is doing well in foster care. we are hoping that his adoption will be confirmed soon.

Eddie arrived at BAPS and straight away we knew he would be a star. Eddie is a adorable White Pomeranian, who is calm and quiet. Eddie is total pretty boy who looks great even when covered in dirt. Eddie loves posing and cuddling so we knew he needed a name to reflect how fabulous he is. The theme for the recent arrivals was comedians so we decided that the only comedian that we could name him after would be Eddie Izzard.

Please, come and visit this beautiful little boy. He needs a special home with a human we can devote himself too and why could provide his with some grooming to allow Eddie to maintain his fabulous look.

Medical history:
Eddie is heartworm negative.

Eddie is a BAPS dog, which means anyone interested in fostering or adopting her will need to complete the adoption application (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/adoption-application) and volunteer two Sundays in a row (from 11-3) at our shelter. For an adoption, one must complete a month long trial to make sure you and the dog are a good fit! You can visit the shelter page for more information!

*BAPS also has a sponsorship program. Anyone interested can give 200,000 won for a dog to have their full health check, be neutered or spayed, and get any necessary dental work. If you are interested in sponsoring Eddie, please let me know!

*Update February 25th*
We had a lovely volunteer who fell head over heels in love with Eddie when she saw him. Since then she has come back as much as possible and walked and showered him with love. Well this Sunday she came and took Eddie home. Fingers crossed that he has found his forever home and that they will all do great together.

Update - January 13th
Little Eddie has a great time on the last volunteer days. He got to spend lots of time out of his cage snuggling with one of our volunteers. He's such a sweet and lovable little guy that he is sure to charm anyone that comes to visit him. Don't be put off by Eddie being a Pom. He's sweet and chilled out and not yippy. He loves attention and cuddles but when he's out of his cage he doesn't bark for attention at all. I can't believe this amazing boy has been at the shelter so long. He's so happy whatever he is doing - walking, playing with other dogs or simply snuggling with people.

Update - November 16th
Eddie got on great with everyone at volunteering and he even meet Santa on Sunday. But it starting to get really cold at the shelter and Eddie such a small little guy he's finding it a little tough at the moment. Don't you want to give a home to coolest and most fashionable dog around?

Update - November 17th
Eddie is a little star. He's sweet, cute and loves people. We just can't understand why this wonderful boy is still at the shelter. Its going to get pretty cold soon and someone was small as Eddie really needs a warm place to snuggle up this winter. Can you give a home to the cutest little guy in Busan?

Update - October 19th
Awesome Eddie got the chance to do his favourite thing on Sunday, pose for the camera. There was a Christmas photo shoot at the shelter and Eddie really enjoyed getting his photo taken. He was well behaved and looked just smashing. Eddie is a charming and happy little guy. He's looking for his own human who would love to groom, dress up and pamper him. Are you the perfect human for Eddie?

Update - October 1st
On Sunday Eddie was walked by one of our younger volunteers and proved what a great little guy he is with children. Eddie happily sat and let Jenny, who is 11 years old brush him and remove some sticky leaves from his fur. He didn't even mind that we ended up with a bag full of his fur. Eddie would do really well in a home with older children as he is very calm but sweet and playful.

Update - 13th September
Eddie got a bath last week. He is now looking very white and handsome. Eddie is a great little walker and will happily snuggle up to you if you pick him up. Eddie still loves the camera and is always ready strike a pose when he can. Eddie likes to bark a little as he is a Pom but this is only when is alone in his cage and he wants to attract the attention on nearby humans he spots. Don't let worry about his potential barking put you off, compared to most Pom's Eddie is very calm and chilled. With a little bark training he will be the perfect little companion who will do great in an apartment.

Update 26th August
Today was the big day for the new dogs. The new girls finally got out for a walk but the boys weren't so lucky. Eddie has a little cough so our vet decided that he needed another week until he was ready to go outside for a walk. Still Eddie is a very happy and loving little guy, he was so sad that he couldn't get out to meet all the human who have visited BAPS on Sunday. Hopefully, next week Eddie will be ready to get out and have some fun.

Updated 23rd August
Poor Eddie, he is super keen to get out and walk but he can't go on a full walk yet until his anti-body level is up. Hopefully it will only be one more week until Eddie can enjoy a nice walk. He is such a cute and friendly guy. I spend some time with Eddie and he loved nothing more than being cuddled and petted. His favourite thing seemed to be posing for pictures. Every time we would take a picture Eddie would be posing into the camera. Please consider adopting our cute little star, Eddie desperately needs a bath so he can return to his sparkling white glory.
