Rashida is doing great in her new home and is not officially adopted. Congratulations, I hope you are enjoying your lovely big yard in Seoul.
Update- October 1st*
Great news. Rashida was collected on Sunday by her new foster mom and brother. She's now going to travel to Seoul where the lucky girl is going to enjoy spending her time running around her new garden. Good luck, Rashida.
Temperament: Rashida is a gorgeous, fluffy mix with a beautiful coat. Rashida is very sweet and cuddly and loves people. She gets excited about going out for a walk. She always wants to be with the BAPS volunteers. This happy little girl has a great personality and loves people. Consider giving this beautiful and friendly girl a new home of her own.
History: She was picked out by the shelter directors from a local kill pound, so lucky Rashida now has a chance to find a forever home. We found a collar on Rashida so we must have had a home in the past, the poor little girl must be missing her family, but they haven't attempted to find her.
Medical history:
Rashida is heartworm negative.
There are many advantages to adopting from BAPS, including:
Free training with a professional dog trainer
A dedicated support group
Lots of shelter information
There's also the knowledge that you gave a dog hope and much better life.
We do our best at BAPS to make sure that the families are satisfied and the dogs are happy. We sincerely care about the well-being of our dogs and their new families. Therefore, there are a few steps you need to go through to be able to adopt a BAPS dog.
1) Please complete the adoption application athttp://www.animalrescuekorea.org/adoption-application.
2) To make sure new families are sincere, we ask you to volunteer one week before taking the dog home. On the second week, after volunteering, you are welcome to take the dog home. Volunteers walk, play with, and pet shelter dogs on Sundays from 11-3.
3) After bringing the dog home, you'll get all the benefits of adoption, but the adoption won't be considered complete until a month long trial has been completed. This is just to make sure that the dog fits in with your family.
*BAPS also has a sponsorship program. Anyone interested can give 200,000 won for a dog to have their full health check, be neutered or spayed, and get any necessary dental work. If you are interested in sponsoring Rashida, please let me know!

I feel so bad that Rashida and the others haven't been able to walk yet. She has such a loving personality and just wants to be held.

Today was Rashida's first walk! She was so fun and playful. It's clear she hasn't been on a leash before, so we have to teach her what to do. She was just adorable today.

Hello! i want to know more about rashida, how old is she? She looks like a cute puppy, 1 or 2 years old? I live in Seoul, but i can ride to busan. ( is it possible for people who live in Seoul adopt a dog from Busan shelter?)

We think Rashida is between 1 and 2 years old. Its possible for someone from Seoul to adopt from BAPS. We have had a number of dogs being adopted in Seoul in the past. However, we need to know that any prospective adopters are serious and committed so we require that people interested in adopting volunteer at the shelter 2 weeks in a row. This will give you the chance to meet Rashida and spend some time with her. It will give you a chance to see if you are a good match.

Rashida is currently doing well in her new home in Seoul so we are hoping her adoption will be confirmed in a week or so. We have many wonderful small dogs at BAPS who are looking for their forever home. If you would like to come and visit the shelter you can meet these wonderful dogs or check out their ARK profiles.

Unfortunately, since Rashida came from a kill shelter we don't have information on what type of mix she is.
