Mocha moved in with his new loving family over the weekend. He will be busy being the best friend a girl can have, and soaking up all of the love and attention that comes with the job!
This boy is energetic and sweet – like a shot of espresso with a drizzle of smooth chocolate. He is Mocha.
A little about Mocha:
Mocha wants to follow you around the house and be talked to like he is a baby. He loves to energetically play with his toys and go for walks, but he is also happy to just lay around the house for a while if you are busy.
He is shy and hesitant to approach people he does not know, but he soon warms up to anyone who will show him some love. He is gentle and does not bite or snap, even when you have to take that wonderful old fried chicken bone that he found on the sidewalk out of his mouth.
He is generally not very good around other dogs, but he is not terribly aggressive either.
Why he needs a new home:
Mocha came to live with us 3 years ago when we adopted him from Dr Pet veterinary clinic in Gangnam. We think that he is about 5 years old now (at the time of adoption, the vet estimated that he was 1 or 2 years old). He is about 8kg.
I had a baby back in February and, though I still love Mocha, I can no longer provide him with the level of care and attention that he craves and deserves. I have not asked Dr. pet to take Mocha back since it is a clinic, not a shelter. Also, I know that being placed in that environment until adoption would be extremely stressful for Mocha - I would rather keep him until we can find a suitable home for him.
Becoming a mother has turned out to be far more stressful and exhausting than I could have imagined, and caring for both my son and Mocha is just too much for me. My husband works long hours and his company has begun frequently sending him away on business trips. With no family nearby to help me, I am often alone to care for my son and Mocha. I have been considering this for the past seven months and have delayed putting Mocha up for adoption with the hope that this situation would get easier for me - but it is only becoming more challenging as my son gets older.
If you are interested in meeting Mocha or just have some questions, please feel free to send me a message. You are welcome to come meet him and spend some time with him.

Thanks. There has been some interest, but nothing promising yet. I'm hoping to find him a fantastic home.
