Rosie has the best new family ever!!! :) :) :)
April 22nd, bad news, Rosie had an awesome adoption pending, everyone loved each other, but it didn't work out as they couldn't get final permission from the landlord. Good news, Rosie could still be yours!! :)
April 7th, still waiting for a family...we leave in 10 weeks...Rosie's destiny, please call soon!
And, as an update, Rosie's healthy, (heartworm's all gone) and spayed! after surgery Rosie stayed in and used only pee pads. Not a single accident! She is proficient. :)
http://youtu.be/-lO0Hq0k5xs Let's play! Wanna play? Come on, let's play! Why won't she play?
http://youtu.be/e7zOcrWoP-0 Okay, let's dance! Flamenco??
http://youtu.be/h_wv8dNr07A Um, play? dance? Okay, I'm just happy we're all together!
http://youtu.be/V2X4_18n-FM Wow, now THAT'S what I call playing!
http://youtu.be/tEip5FhDLvs And, time to relax.
http://youtu.be/e7zOcrWoP-0 Aaahhh!
Rosie is doing great! SO at home with us, our cats, and our new foster dog. She's learned to walk in and out of the doors and elevator, or gained the confidence. :) We may have had a few toilet setbacks...not sure if it's Rosie or someone else, part of our adjusting with our new foster dog and getting on schedule, I think. I'm her new contact, and would love, love, love to introduce Rosie to anyone who's ready for this kind-hearted doggie.
Rosie will be moving into foster care within the week. Please cross fingers and toes that everything goes smoothly!
Huge thanks to Amy T & an anonymous donor, who have generously donated to cover all of Rosie's treatment! You are both wonderful!

I saw Rosie at the vet today with Clare. This girl is really a sweetheart! She was a little unsure of us at first, but after letting her sniff my hands for a couple minutes she calmed down and let me pet her and feed her treats :) She has big beautiful eyes hiding behind her long hair. Such a wonderful girl!!

Update: 8 Dec 2013
I went to visit Rosie and got a FULL health update on her from Dr Choi. She is doing very well but has turned into a timid little mouse from her overwhelming surroundings. She really needs a nice warm, cozy, patient household to thrive in!
Here are her health details:
1. Her skin fungus is just about cleared up. As of the 8th Dec, she has only 1-2 weeks of anti-fungal medication left to take.
2. She will be groomed this week as her fur is long and unruly. I can't wait to see who's hiding under there!
3. Vaccinations:
3a. Her titre/antibody test showed high levels of immunity against Parvo & Distemper. She will need a DHPPL booster on 25 October 2014.
3b. She received her Rabies & Corona vaccinations on 7th Dec 2013.
3c. She will need Kennel Cough & her first CaniFlu on the 28th Dec.
3d. She will need her second CaniFlu 2 weeks later (must confirm this with vet - I think it's 2 weeks and not 3.)
4. Heartworm update:
She has finished her heartworm treatment. Now she needs to relax and recover.
This is what happens next:
7 January 2014 - Heartguard (or heartworm prevention)
7 February 2014 - Heartguard again
7 March 2014 - RETEST FOR HEARTWORM!
Rosie will be moving into foster care within the week. Please cross fingers and toes that everything goes smoothly!
Huge thanks to Amy T & an anonymous donor, who have generously donated to cover all of Rosie's treatment! You are both wonderful!

Not yet! :( Trying to get her up there. Her foster mom works until 9:30pm so timing is testing us. Hoping for a courier this weekend up to Seoul/Yongsan/Nowon.

Rosie has been with us as our foster darling for about a week, and she is doing great. She's friendly, at ease, loves sleeping near our heads or cuddling on laps. She LOVES our former foster dog who was visiting, Joyce Ann, a huge Jindo-lab mix...too funny to see them play! She likes the other small dog we're sitting for, and pretty much gets along with our 3 cats, everyone can eat and sleep near each other, but for some reason Rosie sometimes chases and barks at one cat...the one who is kind of a bully and fierce enough even to stalk Joyce Ann, go figure. Love and teasing know no size. Rosie seems scared when I'm actually taking her outside and back in, but really likes walks once she's outside. She'll gladly wear her harness and pee and poop outside...but has also peed 2 times on carpets. (My fault no doubt...human schedules are unpredictable around vacation time.) She went once on a pee pad, and so could probably adjust well to that system if needed. Rosie is totally happy with my 10 year old daughter, but was more nervous around small children who visited, growled a little. We'll get some video and photos soon.

Rosie stayed a night with us before heading to Seoul the following morning. She was an absolutely amazing little house guest! Here are some photos of her from that night. Her haircut is adorable!
