PAX GOT ADOPTED TODAY! HURRAH, PAX!

Pax is the most beautiful fellow. Look how charming and handsome he is! He was abandoned at the door of our shelter, but he has so much more to give. He's energetic, fun, and loves people.
HOWEVER- right now, Pax is very ill. He has distemper. Distemper can be cured, but in the crowded shelter environment he is not able to get the care he needs. He is urgently in need of a compassionate person to open their home to allow Pax to recover. He has much life left in him, and I'd hate to see him lose this fight.
Please, consider giving Pax a second chance at living the life he deserves.

The profile pic does NOT do this dog justice. I observed him at the dog walk last weekend and he is really loveable. He deserves a good home where he can thrive so he isn't the sad little guy you see in the main photo.

He reminds me of the border collie I had growing up. Border Collies are the smartest dogs and are so loving, loyal and full of spunk. You couldn't ask for a better dog!

I know- the difference between the caged picture and the picture of him on the walk just shows how much how much he'd thrive in a loving home. I hope someone comes along for this chap soon...
