Robbie is the sweetest little puppy! He has these adorable little legs like a corgi ^^
UPDATE May 2014
Great news!!
Robbie is going to his forever home this weekend!!!! Yay!
A huge thank you is needed for his amazing foster momma Mikayla :) thank you for helping Robbie on his way.
UPDATE April 2014
Robbie was neutered this week. He is recovering well and STILL looking for his forever home! I can't believe this little angel has found his people yet! He is as sweet as they come!
UPDATE Mar 2014
Just a quick update on Robbie. His infection is nearly gone and hair has started to grow in on the patch on his muzzle. He is loving this warm weather and the long walks we take on the weekends. He is learning how to socialize with other dogs as we meet them walking, but hates it when he has to say goodbye to his new friends. He is still a goofball around little kids, and all the ladies fawn over him. He loves to stop on the street corner and simply people watch -- he is so curious about everything. He is looking for a forever family who can take him on long walks or have a yard for him to play and lounge in the sunshine.
UPDATE Mar 2014
Robbie is still doing great in his foster home!! He does have a little sore on his nose (it's a kind of virus), he is on medication and it is clearing up slowly but surely. Here are some things his foster mum had to say:
"Robbie took me for a walk tonight at 9:30. We rounded the corner near my school just as the night study kids were pouring out the back gate. Needless to say, Robbie was more popular than I! What is usually a 30 minute walk took nearly an hour and a half as kid after kid stopped to pet him. And Robbie was loving every bit of the attention."
Robbie acts normal though and his infection doesn't affect his personality at all. He's still accident free even though I started work again and he's home alone all day. He learned the command lay down this week, so hd now knows three commands in three weeks!"
UPDATE Feb 2014
An update from Robbie's foster mum:
"I can't believe its only been a week! Robbie has been doing wonderfully! He is full of puppy energy at times, and loves to try and steal socks as you put them on and nibble on your fingers. He makes the cutest noises when he yawns, and he flops his body to the ground when he's found a good spot for a nap. But for a 6 month old, he is pretty mellow as well. He hasn't destroyed a single thing in my apartment, as he learned very quick what was a toy and what was not. From the very beginning, he never made any messes indoors, always waiting until we go on walks. He is good on a leash, although very curious and wants to smell every tree and stare at every pedestrian. He gets a lot of attention when we go out, and while still a little shy, he is enjoying all the extra pats on the head he is getting. He gets along fine with other dogs so far, but he gets a little too friendly if you know what I mean, but getting fixed should calm him down a bit. He has also mastered "sit" and "shake" in just 6 days! He is just the most perfect pup, and his future forever family will be very lucky to have him."
UPDATE Feb 2014
Robbie is now in foster care! He is the sweetest little boy, I knew he would be snapped up quick! He is healthy and settling in well! Her is a quick update from his foster mum
'My lil foster pup is teething! Nothing like stepping on one of those sharp suckers first thing in the morning! Also he hasnt made ANY messes in the house, and slept quietly on the rug beside my bed all night. He behaves so well for a 5 month old. Next we start learning commands'
YAY ROBBIE!
Robbie has recently arrived at Asan shelter.
From the look of his teeth he is still pretty young. Robbie really loves people. He was so excited to have visitors and happy to be picked up and cuddled. He is housed with Lambert, the big Sapsaree. We took both Lambert and Robbie out on a walk and Robbie really wanted to stick close to Lambert - they have become good friends. Lambert has been adopted though.. and will be leaving the shelter on Wednesday. I'm worried about how Robbie is going to take it =( Since he is quite young, I am also worried about his health. The young ones fall ill to easily.. the shelter is especially hard for them.
Robbie is young, loving and full of potential! I'm sure he would be amazingly well in a foster or forever home!
