Is this a stuffed animal or real dog?
White bear is a 5 month old Sapsalgae.
White bear went through a lot already as a puppy. He came to the shelter more a month ago when he was found to be sick. Then, he had to be in a hospital for a while. Now, he is all healthy and playful, but do not have his own family.
Why don't you bring this fluffy white bear home? He will love you forever!

I fostered a dog of this breed once and they really are beautiful dogs and indeed very playful. Very cuddly, too :D Whoever adopts him is in for a treat. Also it seemed to me like the majority of him was fur! :)

I've asked this question before because I can't find the answer elsewhere. What coat do Sapsals have? Do they shed a lot? Thank you!

I just did quick research on it. They have long hair with little curl. They do shed ( it says medium level shedding, but it looks a lot as they have long hair. ) and need frequent brushing to avoid tangling.

That's great. My last dog (Wheaten terrier) was hypo-allergenic and had pretty minimal shedding, so I was wondering how the Sapsali would compare. Thank you.

Hi given that they are a National Treasure can they be adopted outside of Korea?

My understanding is that there is only a problem bringing "National Treasure" breeds (Sapsalgae, Jindos) out of the country when they are "pedigreed" and have documentation proving both parents were purebred. Without being a registered purebred, I don't think there is a problem. Maybe someone else knows more!

As far as I know, Karen is right. :)

Yeah, I considered taking in a stray Jindo dog when I was living on Jindo (the island) and was told the same information. As long as there is no purebred documentation (check for microchip) it should be fine.

White Bear is gorgeous. He is friendly and calm and quiet. He is now best friends with Summer, the little jindo mix puppy at EFL shelter. He's such a cute, well behaved pup.

Bear is staying with us right now and he's great. He's wrestling with my other dog right now as I'm in bed! He is gentle and affectionate and friendly to everyone. He's also very good with children. He is a lovely lovely dog and anyone who has him will not be disappointed :)
