I adopted this little guy almost two years ago hoping to give him a forever plan and had full intentions of taking him home with me. Unfortunately - in a slight moment of stupidity - I didn't realize that he was indigenous to my own home country, South Africa. Therefore I can not legally take him back.

He is a great pet who is very low maintenance. As long as he has food, water and his running wheel, he is happy. He enjoys coming out of his cage and moseying around the house, where he will usually find a warm place to have a nap-or explore your shoe collection. He also loves taking a bath in the sink! He'll curl up into a ball and float on his back for as long as the water is warm! He also loves being brushed in the bath - I use an old toothbrush! He is a bit grumpy in winter time and huffs and puffs when you wake him, but this is only because of his natural instinct to sleep through the cold.

Like I said above, I've had him for almost two years so he still has a good 3-5 years left to enjoy.

I really hope to find a good forever home for him.
