Tucker is on a way to a forever home in Canada. Thank you very much, Debbie for adopting this cute boy!
May 14, 2014
We had some trouble finding a foster for Tucker.
Tucker's adopter, Debbie, decided to do what is best for him, which is brining him to Canada through shipping company so that Tucker do not need to be moved around anymore.
His flight will be about in 10 days.
Thank you very much, Debbie for your patience and love towards Tucker.
Tucker is a such a lucky boy to have you!!!!

Tucker needs new foster home as we found that current foster has bad allergy.
Please foster him for 2 months so that he can see his forever mom safely on July.

Found a foster. Waiting for transportation.

I met Hunt at the city pound. Poor little guy wants to get out of cage.
It was impossible to take pictures while he was in a cage as he was so excited to see people. He ran around side to side in a small cage to show his excitedmwnt and had non stop wagging tail.
Received one application abroad. It this works out, we will need a temporary foster and courier to Canada, ON.
Even if this does not work out, we still need a foster for this little guy.
Fingers are crossed!

He currently completed 3 round of DHPPL.

He is a Dachshund mix.
He was wearing a nice collar and cute clothes when he came to the city pound, so we thought the owner was going to show up soon. However, sadly, nobody showed up for last 2 months.
Unfortunately, he has been in a small cage since then. Everybody knows how hard it is for dogs to be in a small cage. :/
Are you a Dachsund or short legged dog lover?
Then, please give this boy a chance.
Interested? Then, do not hesitate email Jung at [email protected].
He is currently at Ulsan city pound, however, he can be transferred to other cities upon approval of adoption.

I would like to adopt this pet. I sent an application in already. Has anyone from Canada ever adopted from here before? I'd love some tips and advice on getting him here to me :)

He is currently at Ulsan city pound. Most small dogs are at foster homes or still at the cith pound. Ilsan EFL shelter usually have bigger dogs.

Thanks for clarifying. On his adoption listing form, could you select: "Living Situation: In a shelter" (instead of "other circumstance") and uncheck "EFL" under the "Shelter Name" option?
Also, if the city pound is a kill shelter, you can add "URGENT" in the title.

Karen, thank you for pointing that out. Sometimes my finger has its own mind and starts to scroll up or down. I switched to a shelter. I left the EFL part so that people know he is under EFL care although he is at the city pound. But, this city pound does not usually do euthanization unless there is specific reason (aggressive or very ill). The EFL changed the city pound like this to save more dogs and cats there, and EFL supports, food, vaccination, medical needs, volunteers etc. However because of this, this city pound is always full. 300 dogs.

Thanks for explaining! It's really great to hear EFL is helping the city pound save more animals. I didn't know about this kind of shelter relationship, so yes, that's a good idea to leave "EFL" on the listings. Thanks!

Oh god I hope he's not on a euth list! Not when I've applied to adopt him. That would break my heart

Do not worry. He is not on a euth list. EFL won't let that happen especially when somebody applied for him. We have been looking for foster for him. Unfortunately, he has not been lucky. There are more than 60 dogs at foster home under EFL care, and some of these needed new foster. Once application is approved, it will be easier to find a foster as it will definatley be temporary thing.

Thank you for reviewing my app Duan. I hope he gets out of there soon. He must be so lonely and bored. I have a back up plan for his travel but would prefer he goes with someone as it would be the best option for him and me. Of course, that's if I'm approved. Keep me posted on this sweet boy. It breaks my heart to think he's still in there waiting.
