Rufus has been adopted by BAPS owners Jin and Leo.
26/3
Rufus is a gorgeous senior shitzu. He has been neutered and seems to love people. He is fully vaccinated and heartwarming free.
Rufus was pulled from the pound. He is a very small boy who likes to be a couch potato and do very little. He is a cuddler and like all shitzus doesn't shed- ideal in an apartment. He is blind.
FROM A FOSTER HOME:
' Personality wise: he's an easy dog. He only barks when he wants something. He woke me up today because his water dish was empty. He only goes the the bathroom in one spot so he is pee pad trained. Walks easily enough on a leash, he can be a bit stubborn when I change directions. He's a cuddle bug. Completely happy lying on the couch next to me for hours. '
Rufus would be great for someone who is looking for a quiet lazy dog. He will never be a hiker but he loves dramas and cuddles so is perfect for those who need a cuddle bug in their lives.

*Update 3rd April*
Rufus has been cleared by our fantastic vet, he is now back to health. This means of course that his time in his medical foster mums is coming to an end. Rufus will be at BAPS from this weekend accepting visitors.
He is such a lovely guy who would do very well in a home. Hey guys just an update.
Here's one last update from his foster mum- Rufus is back to good health now. Only coughs a couple times a day. We have been going on walks everyday and he loves it. I have to be really careful because he tends to run into things and there are a lot of poky things at his eye level. He's encountered a couple of dogs as well. When a dog comes at him aggressively he cowers down and i usually pick him up and move on. if a dog comes at him slowly he seems to be fine. He is also pretty good with kids. I hold on to his collar and let them pet him and he seems fine. He hasn't acted aggressively at dogs or kids but he has been startled by them.
*Update 25th May*
Rufus is currently on trial adoption, fingers crossed it all goes well.
