I love this cat!!! Mir came to me in November 2013 as an emergency foster cat. He was sick with respiratory problems from being stuck in a vet cage. His health improved and I got to know and love the Mir that you can meet today. I am so gracious to have had Mir around for the past 5 months, he has really become a wonderful companion.
When I got him he had a haircut and had very cute "boots". Now he is getting fluffier everyday... his fur feels like a cloud! So luxurious. You can style his fur any way you wish.
Mir will greet you at the door with a happy tail and meow when you return home from a long day at work. Even if he is sleeping, he will get up and say hi immediately! He loves being pet and held, he will purr in your arms.
Mir knows his name and sometimes even comes when he is called :) He also responds to "stop!" and "come here!" When I am in the shower, he meows at the door and usually ends up coming in and sitting on the counter. He likes sleeping in close proximity to me, either right by my pillow or at my feet. He always seems to want to be near me.
He has nails but doesn't use them on furniture or humans, only his scratching pad. He loves laser pointers, catnip, and even simple balled up pieces of paper. He is easy to please!
If I didn't have a cat back in NYC, I would take him home with me because he's such a sweetheart. It will be hard to say goodbye, but knowing he has a loving forever home will make it a lot easier.
My name is Zoe, and feel free to ask any me questions at all.
