First off let me say that I can not express how much it pains me to put this indescribably amazing dog up for adoption. My fiance and I had planned on keeping both of our fosters and had already said we adopted them to others. However, life enjoys throwing curve balls. Due to unexpected events in our life all of a sudden we can't keep them both.

We got Atlas from KARMA on May 31st. To be honest I was worried because the shelter labeled him a 1 year old Pitbull and I was worried he would be as energetic as our last Pitbull (who ate our couch). Now that we've got him we feel like he's some other kind of mix. Maybe a Dalmatian mixed with something else. Atlas couldn't be further from his predecessor. He is so calm. Loves to cuddle and would lay in bed all day with the exception of needing to use the bathroom and eat. He likes playing with toys and making them squeak for a few weeks, and then after that he wants to figure out what makes them tick.
He's learned to sit, wait, paw, and come (not that he ever wonders far away). He's excellent when walking him. Ah, and he LOVES children. Whenever he hears them laugh or squeal in delight at seeing him he'll always stop and stare. I make him sit as I know Korean children can sometimes be scared, but they're not of him. Perhaps due to his charming ways. I've had one year old babies come up and pet him and laugh with delight.
He also loves other dogs, and always takes the submissive role (even to our Dachshund foster we had). He'll play for hours with our current foster and they'll tire each other out.
Atlas is a STUNNING dog with a personality to match. He would do so great in a family with perhaps another dog.
Now I've got to say the one downside to Atlas... he has separation anxiety. Which is why he would do better with another dog or in a home where someone is home a lot. He doesn't bark, he'll whine a little, but we can't crate him, because if we do he'll gnaw at the metal door which has left streaks on his teeth (that may go away). We've tried leaving him on a leash inside, but he chewed through it. He's a brilliant dog and a fast learner, but he needs someone who will be patient with him and work on his problem. Time will heal him I truly feel certain of that.
You're probably wondering why the price is so high, first, I want to make sure that he ends up in a FOREVER home, not a family that may leave him behind due to money. I don't ever want money to be an issue/deciding factor. Secondly, he's nurtured, up to date on his shots, and honestly, a one of a kind beauty who deserves a wonderful home.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or want more pictures.

Wow -he's beautiful and very unique! Maybe some American Staffordshire Terrier in there as well...I hear that breed often gets mistaken for Pitbulls in shelters.

He's one of the most stunning dogs I've ever seen in person. People always come up to us and want to pet him and take his picture. And of course he loves the attention.
His build just doesn't seem like any kind of Bull Terrier. But who can say when it's a mix.

A video of him playing. I'll upload others later since I'm guessing a video of him sleeping wouldn't be such a hit and that's currently what he's doing.

What a stunning boy! Out of curiosity, why is the adoption fee so high? (No judgment, just curious)

Well first off, his vet bills a\cost 220.00 (I have the receipts). The vet checked him for everything Parvo, Kennel cough, heartworm, etc.
He's up to date on his shots and he's been neutered (which for his size would cost about 420 in Korea for the surgery)
This adoption fee just helps us get the money we've spent back. I'm not rich I was his last option at the shelter and took him on the last possible day. I just wanted to help him.
I've bought him vitamins for his joints, toys, food, etc. All of that has cost quite a bit. I want to ensure whoever adopts him won't leave him behind because of money issues. And I have time to wait for that person as all the things mentioned above would cost someone well over 400.
