Description:
Rocky is a superstar who lives up to his name. He is a *little* shy at first, but this only lasts for about 20 seconds and then he is putty in your hands!!! He loves to go for walks and is nice and friendly to other dogs and people. Rocky isn't sure how he feels about being picked up, but he tolerates it and never growls or bites. I think with some proper socialization and affection Rocky has the potential to be even more awesome than he already is. He's a cool little guy and he needs someone equally as cool to be his buddy. If you're looking for a cute, small guy with tons of personality, Rocky is your pup! He'd be a great jogging partner, or wonderful company on a nice long walk.
Rescue Story: Rocky has been at Asan Shelter since at least the summer of 2010. Please don't let Rocky stay another harsh winter at the shelter... he deserves a warm place to sleep. Don't overlook him; he is special! Anyone would be lucky to have this amazing dog in their life.
December 20th: Rocky was all smiles (as usual) hanging out with the volunteers on Sunday. He loves everyone and everything: I have no idea how Rocky has managed to stay so optimistic and easy going after living at the shelter for so long. I'm waiting for his Christmas miracle. He deserves the best.

Rocky enjoyed a nice long walk with his best buddy (and pen-mate) Wombat. He was really excited
to be out of his cage and able to enjoy the beautiful fall day. Please consider Rocky, I know he would make
a wonderful companion!

Rocky asked me to pass along a little message for him: His fur is very short, and the temperature is getting VERY cold, especially at night. Rocky stays outside in his cage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please consider inviting Rocky to stay in your warm house with you this winter, and perhaps next winter...And next winter...And the winter after that...

Rocky was adopted and now lives with his family in Seoul.
He was taken to the vet. From Rocky's mom:
" I took Rocky to the vet today. He doesn't have heart worm and he has already been neutered, so that was great news. He got two shots and we will go again next week for the remaining shots.
... I know we have the perfect dog for us. Today I was at work and couldn't wait to get home and see my boy".

Rocky is doing great. He is getting more confident every day and he is extremely loved by everyone he meets. He likes going for walks and playing fetch and has made himself very comfortable on the futon. He is very curious and interested in the world around him. He has marked up his territory quite well and knows how to find his way home. He is such a great addition to our family.

Thanks everyone! Rocky is doing great! He is making friends with the neighborhood dogs and with the cat that lives outside. He is getting more confident and has barked several times. (In the beginning he didn't bark at all and I was nervous that he may have been debarked.) He loves to chase tennis balls around the yard. He also enjoys chewing on and hugging his stuffed bear. Everyone around here knows him now, so he is well-loved by the people in our neighborhood. Rocky is really great - he has such an awesome personality!

Hi Sophia! Yeah, my phone number is on the back of the name tag. I ordered it from the vet. It took about a week to get it. It was 15,000. He had all kinds, but I thought the bone was cute.
