I have three lovely, wonderful kitties who need foster care for 6 months to 1 year.
I'm going to work in Saudi Arabia in January, and sadly I've just found out that my initial acommodation does not accept pets. Luckily I can accept a stipend which allows me to hunt for other lodgings, but my adviser has mentioned that it can be a lengthy process. Getting my pets into Saudi is not a problem; all of the expenses and paper work will be organised by me, but it's finding a loving foster home; it's giving me nightmares! If you can do it; food and cat litter will be provided for, along with a large cage that they sleep in every night. (I also put them in the cage when ever I go out; it stops the little darlings getting up to mischief with my furnishings!) They're four years old; litter trained; use a scratching-post; they fight; they play; they sleep (alot), but most of all they're so loving! When I rescued them, it took them a long time to trust me; now they follow me about like little angels; I call them the three-degrees! I never let them out-doors though, as I had a scare once when my big 'Lucky' was poisoned; he must have eaten something left by a cruel neighbour.
Please call or email me if you're interested; I'm leaving Korea around the 16th of January, so I don't have much time.
I believe that all animals should be treated the same way we'd like to be treated ourselves; so they deserve our love!:)

Here is Tiny; she's looking for a foster parent for 6 months to 1 year! She loves to kill any carpets or rugs you have on the floor; always ready to play; she would love to be, 'an only cat!'

Tiny can be adopted if someone really falls in love with her. I only want the best for my wee cat! I only have until the 16th of January. If I can't find an adopter or a fosterer I may have to 'put her down,' as I will not chuck her out on to the street for a life of misery and cruelty. None of the KAPS shelters or Nabiya have room for her, so she may have only three weeks of life left. I'm beginning to panic....

1. Don't panic! You still have three weeks to figure something out.
2. Do you now have homes arranged for Lucky and Stinky? (Your message about Tiny seems to imply they are not at risk of being put down.)
3. Have you tried looking for foster homes in Saudi Arabia? It would obviously make more sense to take the cats with you now and have them somewhere you can visit them until you can find a new place where you are allowed pets.
4. If that isn't a go, have you considered boarding her/them in Korea until you can have them sent on to you?
I realise 6 months at a vet would be very expensive, but it may not be that long as you will have more chance of getting them into a short-term home from Feb-March onwards when a new cohort of teachers will arrive for the beginning of the school year.
5. Have you tried offering to pay a no-kill shelter essentially for boarding until you can have the cats sent to you? Shelters like KAPS and Nabiya are overwhelmed and under-funded, so they aren't likely to take in animals that already have an owner, but sometimes they will take them if you are prepared to pay for their upkeep and the spot(s) in the shelter you'll be taking up, plus any medical expenses that arise.

Hi! Yes, I hope I'm never in the position where my only option is the death of a pet.
I have offered Nabiya 1000000 for 5 months boarding expense; then a further 1000000 thereafter every 5 months until I can find somewhere that my cats and I can live in Saudi Arabia. My first thought was to have them boarded here until I can find proper lodgings; I've been talking to Nabiya again hoping that they will take them. If they do, my problems will be solved! If they can't, then I need to find homes for them. I am trying everything at the moment; only God knows which option will come up first! I think re-homing them is the best option as the vet I have located in Saudi keeps the boarders in tiny cages; which I think is cruel, and it may take me a whole year to find pet friendly lodgings. If I were a man it would be easier, but being female, means that maybe I need to find a female only apartment block. Saudi is an Islamic nation and it's very difficult for women to be in control of their environments...... ho hum! I'm still doing lots of research; so far I haven't seen ANY pet friendly apartments listed on the internet in Riyadh....

Hi!
Here is my lovely 'Stinky' cat! She is the best gaurd-cat! Any stranger who comes to the door and she's ready to pounce!
She growls like a large dog, with a very deep voice! She is so loyal but can become jealous for your attention! Loves to play with feather toys on strings! Needs a home now as I only have three weeks left in Korea.

Guess what?
Haruka is a life saver... she's found two fosterers for my wee kitties! Stinky and Tiny have foster homes; they need to be split up, but that's okay because, Tiny always wanted to be an 'only-cat! '
My big 'Lucky' is coming to Saudi Arabia with me, and will board at 'Purrfect Pets Vets' in Riyadh!
I'm soooo happy; want to tell the world; what a lovely Christmas Present!

You can move this listing to the Adopted Gallery by clicking the Edit tab and changing the adoption status to "Adopted". Please remember to uncheck the "Needs Foster Home" box as well. You can also remove Lucky from the title at that time.
