Lucky- The Cocker you can't resist!

She is VERY friendly even with kids and loves to get her belly rubbed.She just loves it. Whenever someone calls her and tries to pat her, she just lies down and shows her belly to be rubbed. I can say she's one of the gentle and affectionate dogs that I've ever seen. She does not growl and isn’t yappy or snappy at all. She LOVES people and gets along well with other dogs & cats too. She can be very energetic on her walks but also can be just relaxed around the house. She loves going for a walk (She walks very well with leash or without) and playing with balls but also loves being cuddled just like a real baby. She has such a girly character but also the typical goofy cocker cheerfulness. Actually, I didn't really need to house & crate train her. She doesn't have any accidents at all around the house while I'm gone out. I've got lots of paintings on the floor and lots of plant pots but she doesn't get over them. If I tell her to go inside her crate, she just goes in without hesitation . She eats her favorite treat in there and stores her toys which I find so cute! She LOVES food, of course, but ins't food agressive at all. I didn't teach her to wait before her meal till I say "OK" but she was already doing it. I moved her bowl and told her to wait. She sat down and waited till I said "OK". I don't think she had been trained before though. She didn't know the word " Paw" but it took just a couple of days to teach her the basic commands. Now she understands Paw, Hi five, wait, Ok, No. She sometimes picks up some food on the street on her walks but she desn't resist or show any kind of aggresiveness when I attemp to take it away from her. I shave her myself at home. She's very calm and even starts snoring while being groomed.

She would do well in both active and passive environments. She's small for a spaniel, 8.2kg. She's also potty trained, but holds it till she is taken out for a walk. She doesn't bark, but sometimes will let out a couple of shouts when someone is at the door. She's just a perfect furry angel.

RESCUE STORY : Lucky was thrown out on the street with lumps in her bellly. The city pound in Busan picked her up on the 21st of November 2011 then moved to Asan shelter on Dec 17 , 2011 to avoid euthanasia.

HEALTH : She had a very bad pneumonia.( heartworm, distemper negative. no ear & skin infection) She received 5-week pneumonia treatment. When she gained enough strength, she was able to get her tumors removed and spayed at the same time. Luckily, the tumors were benign! In just two months, Lucky went from near death to a healthy dog.
