Update: Wooju is doing amazingly well in his foster home. He is very well trained, and become a great companion. He settled right down into a normal home life. He's very smart and affectionate and is a great little pal. If you're interested in meeting him, please let me know.
Original post: Wooju is a super-friendly entertaining little dog. He has a typical out-going schnauzer personality, and he gets lots of attention from visitors. He loves going for walks and plays well with other dogs. He could be a bit of a handful, to be honest, but in a more controlled home situation, he could probably be trained easily because he shows such a strong interest in people and is very attentive to what goes on around him. He never shows aggression with other dogs and seems to be sharp enough to avoid trouble. He has been at Daejeon Paws for a long time now and is just waiting for the right person to come along and give him a chance. If you'd like to visit Wooju, please contact me. He'd love to meet you!

Wooju is now in foster care, and his carer says he is doing great! He's perfectly housetrained, affectionate, and responsive. I knew this funny boy would make a great companion. :)

Hi, I'm the foster caregiver for Wooju, or "The Colonel" as I've started calling him. Let me just say, you would be hard-pressed to find a dog as exceptional as the Colonel. He is smart, affectionate, trainable, and incredibly well-behaved. He misses his old regiment at Daejeon Paws, but he is adjusting well to his retirement. He loves his constitutionals, is gallant to the ladies, and is good around children.
Please contact me to arrange a time to meet him. I'd love to introduce you and let you see for yourself what I'm talking about.

I'm sorry to say that Wooju's adoption fell through, so he is back with his foster carer. Long story that I won't go into. Wooju is an amazing little dog. Just a honey who really ought to have his forever home by now. He's such a great little dog. Affectionate, funny, and well trained. He loves people and would love to be your best pal! Please consider this sweet little guy. He's been waiting for so long!

I'm sad that it didn't work out. He's back in foster care with me now, and although I absolutely love having him back, I really want him to find a permanent home. He is such a wonderful dog, and he's handling the transition well. He deserves a good home.

Please help the Colonel (Wooju) out here. I'm going home for a month in January. I would love to have him in a home before then. Please don't make this sweet boy go back to the shelter. His training is going really well, and he's so good to have around. Please give him your family and love as a Christmas present.

The Colonel is now at his trial adoption home! If all goes well with the allergies, this will be his permanent home. He's a special little guy and I hope to keep him forever.

His adoptive parents are great people, and the Colonel liked them right away. I think he knew right away he'd found his home! Thanks guys.
