Archie is a great dog!!! I spent some time with him today. He is full of energy and you can just tell he wants a fur-ever home with a family that can give him lots of love, attention, and exercise! On his leash, he definitely pulls a lot, but it's probably because he has the lovable energy of a spitz and is cooped up in a cage most of the time; even so, he will need a decent amount of training on a leash and a lot of re-direction training so he will learn to put his energy to good use. He seemed very sensitive to being pet on his hind-quarters, so I'm not sure if there's an underlying issue here. He's also sexually mature and seemed very eager for some luuuuuv, so I'd recommend neutering him. Other than these 3 things, which can easily be addressed, he would be the PERFECT pet! He looks so handsome, so I can only imagine how wonderful he'll look once he has a home to call his own!!!! Love him!

Archie is healthy, neutered young adult dog.
He can be a bit bossy with other dogs so maybe would do better as the "only dog".
Archie is very smart. He will need some training to learn how to interract with people, other male dogs, to learn new treaks and etc.
Archie is peepad trained.
Archie knows basic commands in Korean: 앉어 (sit), 손 (gimme five), 일로와 (come here), 저리가 (go away), 안돼 (no!). He learns very fast.
Consider Archie! He is very special ~

As a Spitz owner I can honestly say that these dogs are NOT high maintanence. Their fur looks imposing but it's like teflon, stuff just rolls off it. A quick brush once or twice a week and a bath once a month is all he'll need. Also, no wet dog smell at all. Please adopt this dog.

Right--I have a Japanese Spitz from Asan--looks like Archie a lot--and his fur, though beautiful and soft, is very easy to take care of. He has a shedding period from winter to spring that lasted a few weeks, and then that was it. I only bathe him once a month as well--sometimes less. They are a great breed!
