Jasper

December 31st: Jasper got the best Christmas gift EVER this year: his amazing foster mom has decided to adopt him! Jasper will return to Canada with her next year to meet his new doggy brother and have his little doggy mind blown by the wide open spaces! Congratulations, Jasper! A HUGE thank you to Liz for saving Jasper and welcoming him into her life. :)

December 24th: Merry Christmas from Jasper! He is doing amazingly well in foster care, and his foster mom absolutely adores him. At the shelter, Jasper was hyper, needy, and LOUD! At home, he is fun, playful, happy, and quiet. Shelters are so stressful for animals. Look at how Jasper has relaxed and changed after just a short time in foster care. November 24th: Jasper is really thriving in foster care. His mom says that he is relatively quiet when she leaves for work during the day, and he is house broken! Good boy, Jasper! He is very energetic, so anyone interested in adopting Jasper should be prepared to take him for a lot of walks and play with him frequently as well. November 11th: Lucky Jasper was taken into foster care today!!! It is about time! Congratulations Jasper! A very special thank you to Liz, Jasper's new foster mom. We are all excited to see Jasper's transformation from shelter dog to companion dog! :)

October 13th: Jasper received heartworm prevention this weekend to make sure he remains healthy and adoptable! :)

October 6th: Jasper is back at Asan Shelter after his stay at the Pyeongtaek Vet was unsuccessful in finding him a home. Jasper would really like to leave the shelter for good next time, and wants to find his family soon! Let's bring Jasper some good luck this fall and all cross our fingers for him!~

September 15th: Jasper was taken to Pet and In vet in Pyeongtaek today so the vet there can help find him a home. He is still in desperate need of a great foster or forever home, so please contact me if you are interested in meeting this awesome little dog!

September 1st: Jasper was busy soaking up the love from the volunteers on Saturday. He got a dose of Frontline and some extra cuddles as well. :)

August 7th: Poor Jasper. Still waiting in this heat for someone to scoop him up and take him home. He is so sweet and affectionate, it's a shame he has to spend so many lonely days at Asan with no one to play with or cuddle. Jasper would love for someone to call his own more than anything. Please consider this super sweet dog!

July 14th: Jasper has been very lonely since his best pal Clyde was taken into foster care. Now Jasper is all alone on the hill, waiting for someone to take him home too. He has never met a person or dog he doesn't like, and exudes happiness wherever he goes. His tail is in a perpetual state of waggy-ness! :)

June 16th: I've never met a happier dog! For someone who's had such a rough start to his little life, he sure is a "glass half full" kinda guy. Jasper had a great walk with his pal Clyde and then hung out and got some love from the volunteers on Saturday. He is a really great dog and deserves a really great home. Let's get him adopted!!~

June 2nd: Handsome little Jasper had a great day with the volunteers this weekend. His barking has gotten way better since he's been moved to the pen on the hill with Clyde and Lexi. I don't think Jasper is as lonely anymore with his new doggy pals, but what Jasper would really love is a human friend to take him for walks and cuddle him every day. Mr. Park told me that Jasper has been neutered and is also heartworm negative. Congratulations Jasper! Now let's find you a home!

May 20th: Jasper went for a nice walk with a volunteer today, who was impressed with how friendly and affectionate he was. Jasper is a real love-bug, folks! Please consider this guy for your future and forever friend.

Jasper is a new recruit at Asan and he has already made himself known to the volunteers. He is so sweet and cuddly it's hard to believe he has ended up without a family. He wants to be with people, 100%, and was not happy to be returned to his cage after his brief taste of freedom. He walks really well on his leash and gets along very well with other dogs. Jasper looks to be some type of mix: his long body and short little legs are reminiscent of a Corgi or Daschund. His amber eyes are beautiful, perfect to match his wonderful demeanor. Please consider fostering or adopting this cuddly guy!
